We need you! We have reached out to our local Penryn and Falmouth food bank to offer our support during the festive season which they have gratefully received.
And now we’re calling on our wonderful customers to donate any items they can to support our efforts, which our engineers are able to collect during home visits. From now until the food bank closes on 21st December our engineers will be collecting long-life, in date food items along with essential toiletries, delivering them directly to the food bank every Thursday.
Having experienced a growing demand from those in need of help and with Christmas on the horizon, there has never been a better time to donate.
As heating and plumbing engineers, we spend most of our days visiting people in their homes. We chat, we fix and we ensure that homes are left warm and comfortable. It’s a job that places us in the heart of the community and one we love because of it. To know that the cost-of-living crisis is so severely affecting our local community and leaving more and more families struggling, breaks our heart.
And so, any in date, long life food items are always welcomed along with any festive food goodies such as gravy granules, packets of stuffing, Christmas puddings and tinned goods.
Items needed can vary so we do suggest you check the Penryn and Falmouth foodbank website for their current list which can be viewed here;

New toys and presents are also gratefully received as the food bank has launched a present-giving scheme, with adults and children able to pick then wrap a gift to take home. With parents often neglecting themselves in favour of their children, this simple act of kindness, of being able to give back to those you love, has a life-long impact and will transform Christmas for many.
No home visit booked? No problem! Our offices are open from 9am – 6pm and members of the public are welcome to call in, say hello and drop off any items to help us spread some festive cheer.
We really do need your help and can guarantee that items donated will find their way to an individual or family very much in need this Christmas.
If you would like to donate items you can drop them into our office at;

Thank you!
UPDATE (22.12): Following our call for support with our donations to the Penryn and Falmouth Foodbank we have seen more than 600 food items donated (with more still coming in). This is an incredible achievement and it will most definitely improve Christmas for so many struggling families. A huge heartfelt thank you to each and every single one of you, this was a joint effort, with your support vital in making this a success. We are so grateful and can’t thank you enough.
